We are moved in and warm! I only have a few pictures, Sorry! The Moose lives around our place this was the third time that we have seen him, though I'm pretty sure he has seen us many times!
Christmas was cozy in our little cabin we went out and cut down a 'charlie brown' Christmas tree. It was so cute! I would show you a picture but my morning face has spoiled every one! Darn!=)
I have found a job! I'm am working at the Petco Grooming Salon as a brusher/ bather. in other words I get to hold the dog so the groomer doesn't get bit! I am enjoying it though!
New Years Eve we went out in -45o weather to watch fireworks. Well the fam did, I stayed in the heated car. I was complaining about the 4 below out house... Bring it! This 40 below stuff stinks!
The air is so cold that you can throw a glass of hot water into the air and what doesn't evaporate freezes instantly. The car lines freeze if you don't start it every 4-6 hours and let it run for a while.
We live up in the borough (the hills) so our 40 below means that it could be 50 to 60 below in Fairbanks. I knew that it would be cold and its going to take some getting used to, but the beauty is amazing! The sharp cold turns every crystal into wonderful prisms.
Life is good, and getting better! Love to everyone back home.

I emailed you guys an article from the Gazette today. Seems people like to go to visit your area in the winter to see the Northern Lights and some hot springs resort nearby. Lots of Japanese fly there just for the light show. You will forget all about the -40 or so next summer! Mike.

Looks like today you got a heat wave. All the way up to 0 WOW!!! Bet that seems warm. I like the cabin, you have it fixed up real nice. How is the job market for electricians in Fairbanks?
It was -14 today in Iowa. Well time to venture out in the cold, Kaely wants to play BINGO for her birthday, so off we go.
Give my love you all
